Flower dresses are probably the most feminine pieces of clothing ever made. The flowers on them have something innocent and pure to them and are without a doubt absolutely beautiful. But there are so many different styles of them that any statement can be made. You are feeling kinda badass? Wear a dark dress with big flowers, boots and a leather jacket. Feeling flirty? Opt for a lighter one with nude sandals. Feeling bold? Just go for it.
What I am trying to say is that flower dresses are for everyone. You just have to find the right one for you. To do that, I would recommend taking the silhouette, the color and the sizing of the flower print into consideration. If you do not identify as the ‘girly type’, maybe do not go for light pink with ruffles. It is important that you feel confident in what you are wearing because that is what makes an outfit stand out. Consequently, search for flower dresses that flatter your body type. If you have not found your ideal shapes yet, don´t worry. Just try on some dresses and trust your gut! If it feels right, it will look right… and if there is any doubt, don´t buy it.
Flower-wise, it is the same thing: if you like the print, go for it. But what I have found is that small and detailed patterns look stunning on petite women whereas taller ones like myself should stick to larger patterns – at least when it is a long dress.
That being said, here are three of my latest flower dress finds! ♥
Casual and down to earth
If you are looking for the perfect look for a day in the park, this is it. The C&A dress is super soft and comfortable and the light print is perfect for daytime.
The jean jacket and the sneakers both have a feel-good-vibe as well. The earrings bring something a little bit more extra to the look.

Bold, but sleek
This dress is the darkest out of the three. Many times, flower prints on dark fabrics look unfortunate, but in this case, I feel like it is executed really well. I like that the top part is plain and only the skirt has the print on it.
The belt and the RAID shoes match perfectly and make this a more grown-up look.

Romantic and feminine
This dress is for sure the most romantic and girly one out of the three. I love that it is white and that the print is not too brightly colored.
I was not too sure about the high-low-cut of it, but I think the beautiful neckline totally makes up for it.
The thin belt around the waist makes it very flattering for almost every body type.
